Dr. Jeanna Jacobsen is a Social Work contributing faculty at Walden University. They are a queer identified therapist with over 17 years of clinical social work experience. Dr. Jacobsen's scholarship has focused on intersecting identities, specifically related to sexuality, gender, and spirituality. They have published and presented on diversity and identity in online education and enhancing mental health professional competence when serving LGBTQ+ clients. Past volunteer for organizations such as the Trevor Project, Utah Pride Center, and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
