This training module is required for all field supervisors who do not have a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. The training provides information about field education in the Social Work Program at Walden University and general infromation about the learning expectations of social work students. This is not an official CEU credit.

Donna McElveen currently serves as the Director of Field Education for the Master of Social Work (MSW) Program at Walden University. She previously held the position of the Director of Field for the BSW Program and Field Education Coordinator. Before coming to Walden, she served as the Director of a BSW Program in Minneapolis. Her professional social work experience is primarily in the area of aging and gerontology. Other professional experiences include community mental health case management, social work with homeless populations, and court mediation.
