Course Description
Students in this course are introduced to Walden University and to the requirements for successful participation in an online curriculum. They are provided with a foundation for academic and professional success as a scholar-practitioners and social change agents. The focus of course assignments is on practical application of writing and critical-thinking skills to promote professional and academic excellence as they relate to practice in psychology and counseling.Applications for each non-degree, credit-bearing, course are reviewed by Walden University’s Admissions Office. Therefore, only a single credit-bearing Walden course can be purchased at a time until an admission decision is rendered (usually within 2 business days).
