Description

This presentation will provide information related to the value of the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) certifications, the history of the credentials, reasons to certify, how to apply, and the benefits of the CHES and MCHES credentials. Descriptions of the Health Education Specialist Practice Analysis II (HESPA II) 2020 areas of responsibility, competencies, and subcompetencies will be introduced along with how they relate to CHES/MCHES exam preparation. Health Education and Promotion (HEP) faculty will be available for additional panelist questions at the conclusion of the webinar.
