Course Description
Students will survey fundamental biological principles and be introduced to the scientific method of investigative questioning in order to understand the world in which we live. Discussions and assignments emphasize cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and diversity. Students completing this course should have an increased appreciation for how focused questioning and testing theories lead to a better understanding of our individual responsibilities in navigating the world.Applications for each non-degree, credit-bearing, course are reviewed by Walden University’s Admissions Office. Therefore, only a single credit-bearing Walden course can be purchased at a time until an admission decision is rendered (usually within 2 business days).
