Course Description

Students in this course will gain foundational knowledge regarding the importance of the supervisory role and the potential for incorporation into private practice. Supervision of counselors consists of various roles and environments when supporting counselors in training whether delivering in person or at a distance. Students in this course are provided with the opportunity to develop their supervision approach and learn introductory supervision skills.

Applications for each non-degree, credit-bearing, course are reviewed by Walden University’s Admissions Office. Therefore, only a single credit-bearing Walden course can be purchased at a time until an admission decision is rendered (usually within 2 business days). If you have any questions, please contact an enrollment specialist at 855-621-4892.
