Description
In this course, you will be able to articulate what the field of neuroscience is teaching us about the impact of substance misuse on brain chemistry, as well as how neuroscientific findings are impacting treatment options. You will examine the neurobiological framework underlying substance use disorders (SUDs), which will help you to understand some of the mechanisms that occur as people transition along the continuum from use to misuse to dependence on a substance.
